Home Depot Job Fair
Del Norte County Fair Grounds

A total of 429 job applicant’s attended the weekend job fair August 11-13, 2006.

New jobs created in the community included:
20 Home Depot Staff Transfers
100 Local Hires

One Stop Center Staff contributed 1,054 labor hours to the entire Home Depot hiring process.

The One Stop Computer Lab

During the week The One Stop Center Computer Lab stayed open for 7 days, fully staffed to assist applicant’s in resume building and online Home Depot application process.

During this week 161 Home Depot applicants utilized the computer lab for resume building and on-line application process.



 
 

 
 

September 1 2006, Excitement and anticipation builds in the Crescent City Community as work crews put the final touches on the new Home Depot Store in Crescent City California!

Scheduled for a Grand Opening date of October 4, the rush is on stock the shelves with product in time for the Grand Opening. Crescent City welcomes Home Depot to our community with open arms in appreciation not only of the fine products, services and good prices that will now be available in this community, but also the career jobs that have now been created and the additional business opportunities now open in the community for support services and their commitment to community.
